Payment
Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date.
State and public agencies will be billed through interagency invoicing. Cash and personal checks will not be accepted.
All other donees must remit payment by check issued by the donee organization. Personal checks, cashier’s checks, money orders, and cash will not be accepted.
Additional charges may apply for shipping and delivery of property from the Federal Surplus Property warehouse to the donee’s location.
Warehouse Pickup
Property is available on an “as is/where is” basis. Donees are responsible for inspecting property and making arrangements for its removal.
Property may be picked up from the Federal Surplus Property Program warehouse by appointment only, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Complete the Contact Us form to schedule an appointment for property removal.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping and delivery may be arranged through organization-owned transportation, third-party contracted transportation, USPS, or FedEx. Applicable shipping and delivery charges may be added to the donee’s invoice.
Donees are responsible for arranging and paying for the shipping and delivery costs when using third-party contracted transportation.

State and public agencies may request that certain property be shipped via FedEx. FedEx shipping costs will be billed to the state or public agency through interagency invoicing. Delivery of property from the Federal Surplus Property Program warehouse to a state or public agency’s location may also be available at an additional cost, subject to approval by the Federal Surplus Property Program Manager.
Direct Removal
Donees may, upon allocation of requested property, be authorized to remove property directly from another facility. Direct removal must be approved by the Federal Surplus Property Program Manager and is subject to the applicable pricing schedule provided below, which includes all compliance items but does not include fixed-price vehicles.
