The Federal Surplus Property Program is a unit of the Division of Purchasing, which operates as a division within the Department of Administration. We serve as the clearinghouse for the federal government’s surplus properties.

Our mission is to efficiently and responsibly acquire and distribute federal surplus property to eligible public agencies and nonprofit organizations, maximizing the value of federal assets while supporting Idaho communities and public services.
